The exhibition-atelier and conference will be presented in English and Mandarin.
Coming to China for the very first time, the Mosaic of Marks, Words, Material Exhibition-Atelier and Conference tells the story of research done in Reggio Emilia's infant-toddler centres and preschools on mark-making and drawing woven with narrative. Having travelled to many countries such as Canada, North and South America, Japan, Vietnam, Kuwait and Singapore, it is indeed an honour and privilege to bring it to Harbin! The 2025 Reggio Emilia Conference organised by REACH and Reggio Children, assisted by Harbin Preschool Teachers College, Heilongjiang Provincial Direct-Affiliated Institutions Preschool Education Development Center and Harbin Preschool Education Vocational Education Group, hosted by EtonHouse International Education Group will be held for the first time in Harbin, China to present a 2-day immersive professional development session for educators all around the world!

Alongside the conference, the highly anticipated Mosaic of Marks, Words, Material exhibition atelier will be showcased for the first time in China. This exhibition tells the story of research done in Reggio Emilia’s infant-toddler centres and preschools on the theme of mark making and drawing woven with narrative which will help educators to better understand the poetic fabric weaving together drawings and words, and convey the cognitive and expressive richness children generate.
